Oxford and Blenheim Palace

So in November of last year I visited Blenheim Palace and Oxford. It is such a beautiful place and there was plenty of opportunities for photos! I never had a chance to upload them before now mainly because I have been so busy with university!
I love the architecture I was able to capture, there was so much to see! Blenheim Palace is in particular an amazing place. It is so grand and every room is decorated so perfectly! We had tea and food within the Palace orangery which felt so posh and proper and was all round lovely!
We stayed over a night and visited Oxford for the next day, which although was very very cold, was a lovely day out. In the main town they held stalls decorated with Christmas ornaments and foods alongside the many small individual shops with Oxford merchandise. We explored all the tourist sights after consulting a map; notorious with Morse and Endeavour and several other English dramas!
I would definitely recommend a visit if you are in the area, especially Blenheim Palace.

First visit to Cambridge

So earlier in the year I visited Cambridge for the first time.
The funny thing about that is the fact I don't live all that far away from it - yet I had never been!
It is the most gorgeous looking city (I think anyway) and I really hope to go back there soon!
The amount of really old grand architecture there was great, everywhere there were great photo opportunities.
I didn't upload these at the time mainly because my blog didn't exist then! (Its still an infant!) I'm uploading them now however and wondering what dates to choose for my next visit!
I hope you enjoy looking at these photos although you'll probably feel the same as me, in the fact I'm jealous that these were taken early spring and its now nearly the end of summer...

The British Seaside...

So recently I spent a couple of days at the seaside. It was possibly the best weekend of the year we could of hoped for with regards to the weather. It was so hot and the sun was shining the whole time, which is very unusual! It was really nice to get away and just enjoy the sun and the cobbled streets of quaint little village streets and seaside towns. The little gift shops there are great too. We are lucky in Britain that no one is ever too far away from the seaside. Even in the middle of the country it doesn't take too long to drive to the edge to reach the sea. I think that the seaside is just a great place for photos too, everywhere there are great photo opportunities. I have to mention though that the photos don't do the day justice, the sky was bright blue in real life!
The outfit I choose to wear had to include a seaside theme too, I wore my H&M crab top which I love! It is actually a crop top but I thought the weather was going to be cold so I chose to wear a white top underneath (and a denim jacket over the top) which wasn't really necessary!

I also wore sea themed accessories including a peal tipped necklace and a shell bracelet. I decided to go all out on the seaside look. It possibly made me look very 'tourist'y' but who cares!

Sometimes it is just so nice to get away to somewhere not to far away without the stress of going on a plane etc (Although saying that I cant wait until I go to spain!) and just to enjoy the simple things in life like watching the rolling waves.
I hope you get to enjoy some sunshine this weekend too!

Los Angeles: A Snapshot

So I'm back from my trip to the US, more specifically Los Angeles. I didn't really have much time there to enjoy many of the sights but what I did see I really enjoyed! In this post I am basically just showing some snapshot images of my time. I had some great views of palm trees and ate some great meals (and some 'not' so nice plane food!) on my journey, which I photographed.
As for the outfits I wore I lived in an elasticated crop top and my high waisted shorts. They were just so comfy and the black top suited almost everything and looked great (I think!). My shoes were not so great. They were my leopard print, Dune London pair and looked great however as they were new I got major blisters which lasted forever! They were so painful so I've had to abandon them to the back of my cupboard until the blisters heal fully! I must have used 10 packs of Compeed blister pads! Los Angeles was a great place to shop for new clothes and outfits, I bought a G by Guess handbag I love and Michael Korrs sunglasses which were really cheap!

One of my fondest memories was when we went to Disneyland, there was the 60 years anniversary celebrations being held and so everywhere was decorated in blue and silver flags and diamonds. We spent the whole day there and we didn't even see it all! I would recommend it to everyone no matter of how old you are - I probably saw more adults and teenagers than there were children!
Overall Los Angeles was a great place and I would recommend it to anyone who wants a hot, fun filled holiday!
